It's been a while since we've done this, so — Merry Christmas, now let's make a case for the characters you are DYING to see at C&C.

I'll start: we should have the R A I N B O W   R A I D E R! His ~*space rock goggles*~ allow him to ride rainbows everywhere, or to bathe people in different color lights to affect their emotions. WHY ISN'T HE KICKING ASS AND TAKING NAMES IN BLACKEST NIGHT?? Goddamnit, DC! Read more about him. He can also drain colors out of people which is apparently like... idk, draining their powers... sort of... something, look, his powers make NO SENSE WHATSOEVER, let's not try to analyze them too hard.

Also do you think I should change this username? I don't know if I like it anymore.

See, the Hawkman I'd app would not be Carter Hall. It'd be the Thanagarian Katar Hol from Hawkworld. That's why nobody wants him but me. He's half Hawk-hardass and half-bleeding heart liberalish sort - he comes from a planet full of assholes and is fascinated by concepts like "the pursuit of happiness." But he'll also kill a motherfucker doin' wrong, although he'll sometimes search for a better way. He's half alien, half Native American.

Okay, this is hilarious coming from someone who plays Donna Troy but HALF THE TIME I DON'T KNOW WHICH HAWKMAN I AM READING because of his history/etc so ... so I really need to read up more on him and snag issues he's in so I can differentiate!! ANY HAWKMAN IS GOOD OKAY.

Also you will glee at the Doc Mid-Nite and PG interaction. I swear it is SO CUTE and it makes a fantastic freakin' ship. And Pieter Cross is secretly shippable with just about every badass DC female to me. Secretly.

AND YES I really love how polite he is and HIS SENSE OF HUMOUR and he is just a total dork, but he's also one of those ridiculous INTELLIGENT PREP TIME HRNNN people and is a complete badassgghghgh

If I actually have a Doc Mid-Nite cheerleader, I'll be much more inclined to app him. So keep it up. :D

And I picked Katar Hol in part because of an awesome Hawkwoman Shayera Thal (not Hawkgirl) player I used to play with, but also because he was the first post-Crisis Hawkman, and his canon from Hawkworld until the Zero Hour mess and the start of Retconpalooza is fairly straightforward. Maybe I could find a niche for him here.
