So I was wondring.

1. Why did you give your character the username they have and how did you come up with it/them? Is it a fandom joke, a reference, a punny name, etc.
2. If you could name them anything else, what would it be?

→ Sarah Calls her Tin Man / Tin Miss a lot in canon (the whole machine without a heart thing)
→ She is prototype numbered 715

I don't know what else I'd name her, but at times this username really annoys me for some reason.

hisforonehour: People call the Doctor's companions "his". Lynda accepted the Doctor's offer to travel with him, making her technically a companion. However, she only lasted one hour before a Dalek killed her. I love Lynda's name, so I'll never change it.

400yearsold: He's around 400 years old. I love my other Adam account's name more (lazarusrisen). If I were to change it (400yearsold), it would be something like 'healyblood' or 'deathplotdevice' or something horrible like that (because really, Adam's death was just an awful plot device. But it's punny because plot = death I'm just gonna go in my corner now).

Um, well Tony's isn't exactly punny, but it does play on the fact that he's iron man, and uh, the whole alcoholism thing. Because I had to.

Mara's is descriptive, plain and simple! Mitch's is a play on "Deus Ex Machina" for which the series he's from is called, so I just removed machina and left his name, because Idk, I wanted to.

Illiderp's is a play on the fact that his Blade has a panda on it (http://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/wowwiki/images/f/f5/Illidan_WC3.jpg) in Warcraft III. It has absolutely nothing to do with his personality, sadly. :(

Felicia's (acrossyourpath) is because of the 'Black Cat crosses your path' expression and because of her bad luck powers.I like it, I don't think I'd ever change it unless I thought of something amazing.

Chronos's (chronosyoudidnt) is a pun, ('Oh no you didn't'), Sara thought it up. I am never changing it!

HAL's (answertrue) is a reference to the Daisy song, and based on the fact that he doesn't tell the truth a lot. :|

Electro's (electrouble) is because I wanted a pun and he is definitely trouble, though I wanted electrofied or maxpower. IF THOSE TWO EVER OPEN UP...

Now it's frobocop, a pun that's just as terrible but is instead a nod to her... emotionally detached... personality... and also she's a cop so fro+robocop=frobocop. NEVER CHANGING THIS ONE EVER AGAIN.
-pinecloned is a stupid multilayered piece of shit pun LIKE EVERYTHING ELSE I DO >:( Dr. Mann's birth name is Ayuko Matsumori. Matsumori means pine forest. Yorick makes fun of her for this when he finds out. Also spoilers spoilers spoilers clones spoilers and it sounds like pine cone. If I could name her anything else, uh, I might do mannwithaplan, but I'm happy with it the way it is!

This username comes from a really really sad quote about Sarah said by Billy as her ashes are scattered. Because I like depressing myself a little whenever I log in. I like it a lot and so I doubt I'll ever change it.

Rikki's (kickinsidekick) was originally going to be putsthekickinsidekick but that's way too long, so I went with the shortened version. I picked it because... lol she's a sidekick. If I ever change it it'll probably be some ridiculous quote from her mini... like mashmybrainmeats. Oh wait that's too long :(

Mytho's "lovemedangit" is a tribute to the tantrums Raven Prince pulls screaming things like "WHY WON'T YOU LOVE ME?!" Sadly, lovemedamnit was taken. The other option would be PrinceNoPants but I already have that for another version of him :D

except I messed up and created cry_andletloose instead of cry_andletslip, but...it fits Havok better because he just plasma blasts away so 'letting loose' is a more suitable phrase for him than 'letting slip'?

Apocalypse is this giant plot device villain who comes to terrorize the X-men (and most of the Marvel universe) every once in a while to shake things up a bit. Jono, due to some creative storytelling, is actually a descendant of Apocalypse, so he got kidnapped by them and revamped into an Apocalypse mini-me, free of charge. Aren't they nice? Basically he totally looks like Apocalypse, except scrawnier and with hair.

Rachel (temporaltossed) is a time traveler, multiple times over, and she gets tossed around and manipulated a lot, Ahab, Bogan, the Shi'ar, the Marvel editorial staff... so, yeah.

Would I change either? Probably not. I like them both. Most my RP journal names are form quotes or things of emotional import to the character. I think the snarkiest one I have is an Anna Milton (Supernatural) account that's "backseatangel" a) because of the infamous sex scene and b) the next time you see her after that is when she just pops into the backseat without warning.

At one point in the StormWatch comics when Bendix recruits her for to run StormWatch Black, she refuses to wear a spandex costume with the awesome quote: "I'm not wearing one of those damnfool spandex body-condom things. I haven't got the bust for it." So if I could change it, I would definitely go with hasntgotthebust or lacks_the_bust
