You look way too much like Wend for it not to be a little bit painful. Orson thinks you're eight-tenths of a moron, but that doesn't mean that he won't die for you at the drop of a hat. He goes in-between thinking of you as a son and as a grandson and as a fellow Iron Fist and is never very good at differentiating what those things mean to him. He thinks you're too goddamn nice and that you still have a lot of growing up to do, but the fact that you are so good and kind helps him in an abstract way. The role of Iron Fist has always been that of a weapon and a faceless machine, just as useful as a sword and given just about as much freedom. But, Danny redefines the tradition, for good or for ill. You are the hope that he holds out for change and for the future. So you're worth dying for.

TERRIFYING. Nico hasn't come close to death very many times, so her fight with Riful was a big fat deal. The fact that she's just chilling limblessly in a shadow somewhere scares the shit out of Nico---especially since Riful has made it clear that Nico is on her List. She's sort of become a stand-in for Nico's Grimshape because canon hasn't explained what that is yet but it's still hanging over her head as something she has to fight...

WHY ARE YOU SO FRUSTRATING. She genuinely had some puppylove feelings going for Mark before he ported out, so she's been kind of shy/hesitant to get too involved with Mark now that he doesn't remember all that. She likes him still---a lot---but she's decided that she's going to be a Better Person and settle with boybot. He's sweet and almost too nice, so she does things for him like ALWAYS FIXING HIS STUPID COSTUME even though she really just wants to set it on fire and tell him that the spandex gods took it unto their breasts.

And she is going to kick his ass into next week once she hears about this business with Norman's Avengers.
