I noted to Teal that there are very few people Vector feels a true claim to; Safeguard is one of them, but only so long as they remain in the City. Sari...does not quite have a 'true' claim in Vector's mind but he definitely feels a bit concerned about her well-being, especially since we've established he played a part in setting her protoform in place.

She is a very Important child. Without her, it's doubtful that the Autobots upon Earth would have had half the chance they did - and the Allspark would have been the thing to suffer. As such, if there was any outright/direct threat to her? He would intervene immediately.

...assuming, of course, he didn't think that it was something she was capable of ass-kicking herself.
