REMINDER
Please remember that GDS is limited to one meme a day, going by EST. Since we've already had two memes today, please refrain from posting any memes tomorrow, guys.
Additionally, even with this limit in place, we're getting complaints that the game is too meme-heavy and people are feeling left out of a lot of the interaction. We've previously used a three-meme-a-week limit and certainly received fewer complaints about the issue back then. Should we officially cut back on memes again? (Conversely, we have received requests to do away with the meme limitation all together.) Discuss below.

I know how it feels to not be included IC or OOC, but the most effective solution I've found is comment first, comment often. It's a little unrealistic to expect everyone to like everyone in the game, and some people will wind up more well-liked than others. That's just how personalities work. I don't think anyone means for meme participation to be a personal sleight against anyone. I don't think it's the moderator's responsibility to cater to any one person's RP experience, based on whether or not they 'fit in the group' in memes. Considering yourself intentionally left out by the game at large, and seeing a lack of meme responses as hard evidence that you are being singled out as unwanted...it's a natural response, but it's not going to help anyone to let that response dictate how you react to the game.
