And yeah, I'd be totally up for it! 8D The only issue, I think, is that if Takaya is too wounded, he won't be... able to treat him, having only basic first aid. As cruel as he can be, I think that stops at watching Takaya die a lingering death in his care. :[

Buuuut if it all works out, I'd be up for plenty of logs between the two of them while Takaya recovers. :> The bonding would be so epic. And awful.

Awesome! And...well, I'm not sure it'll work out that way since Tyki's apparently going to phase him into concrete and then break more bones (except the INTERNAL ones this time! :D :D :D), and if it doesn't that's a shame. There's always the chance he gets official and qualified help and just...breaks out or something so he can go die in a gutter somewhere and WHOOPS KATURIAN. Idek, the torture log's not done yet so I'm not sure exactly what sorts of damage is going to occur.

And gotcha! Katurian will probably be able to use the prescription pain meds he got for his hands (hilarity!) for Takaya, but noting too elaborate. If it turns out to be too much damage for one neurotic writer to deal with, Takaya could get enough official help to keep him going, like you said, oooor we could save this plot for a later time. I'm certain Takaya will get fucked up at least one more time during his stay. :'] And Katurian would be right there to scoop him up. It would be a shame to waste this.

He's never been quite this fucked up before, nothing Chidori or Jin couldn't help him fix, so he'll...be a little uncooperative. He'll take his first opportunity out of any medical-like situation, even if it kills him. He could get healed up enough to slip out and then run into THOSE FUN GANG MEMBERS HE'S BEEN SCREWING WITH HIS ENTIRE CITY STAY.

Or something like that, idk. But I'm good with saving it, too - the awful bonding plot is just too awesome to pass by. :']

THAT FIRST THING SOUNDS GOOD, ACTUALLY. :> That way, we won't have worry about how Takaya's injuries will play out right now, and Katurian will have some time to settle back into his daily life before kidnapping his frenemy for the greater good.
