In another half hour I'll have been up for twenty-four

Somehow that sounds like song lyrics.

Anyway, the point of this post is that I went to see Iron Man 2 despite my hellish day and it was pretty swell. I have no major complaints about the story, but a few nitpicky ones. RDJ played assholish alcoholic Tony as awesomely as ever. Rhodey was good, and I was worried cause I fear change. And Scarlett Johansson was oddly thin looking, but overall not bad.

So CnC, any of you been to see it and have thoughts to share with the class?

To innocent bystanders, beware that if you get me talking there will probably be spoilers. Sorry. Just sort of happens.

I SAW IT LAST NIGHT/THIS MORNING.

and I loved it. Not as amazing as the first Iron Man, but definitely a worthy sequel.

The only thing that...well, I wouldn't say it bugged me (because it really didn't), but it did catch me off-guard was the whole end thing with Pepper.

As soon as Natasha came on-screen I was waiting for, yeah, something. He just sort of ogles her and then...that's it. But you're right, him kissing Natasha would have been much more anticipated than the whole Pepper-thing.

It's just...okay sure they were kind of building it up with the whole bickering shtick and Natasha sarcastically saying something about their honeymoon. AND HEY even him going in for a kiss was like, okay whatever. BUT I WAS STILL EXPECTING AN "uh yeah no" on Pepper's part buuuuuut...

ffffff semi-dedicated relationship with Pepper just. What.
