VISUALOSITIES; (vis·u·al·os·i·ties) noun— 1) A collection of pictures, piece of film, or displays used to illustrate or accompany a fictional character. 2) Hipster bullshit.

Visualosities are a sort of digital collage, a collection of virtual magazine clippings that you relate to your character in some way. It's a simple, fun thing to do & share if you are visually inclined or even if you are not. And then I will use my HTML powers to turn this post into a visual visualosities database.

So, here's something I'm curious about, C&C. Do you write fanfic?

If so, do you find it's very different from RPing? Do you write the same characters you play, or are you drawn to different concepts and/or fandoms entirely? Do you feel beholden to different standards of what's acceptable? (I.e., I'd never play out this pairing seriously, but I sure as hell will write a fic about it.)

Also I have written srs bsns Twilight fanfic on more than one occasion. I'm in no position to judge, well, anything.

So you may or may not know, but the first issue of Black Widow's ongoing series came out yesterday. And everyone should buy it. Because first, it was pretty good, but also because female protagonists just flat-out do not sell very well among comic readers, and to convince Marvel there is a market for female protagonists you kind of have to buy things. Actually, there's a whole promotion going on right now featuring various one-shots and minis. Sif #1 and Firestar #1 come out next week, and a whole slew of other one-shots in the upcoming months, plus a Black Cat mini and a mini-event Heralds. So just keep an eye open, I guess, and check out the things that interest you.

But yes other things in Black Widow #1: ~METROSEXUAL BUCKY~ and Tony Stark's fabulous high-waisted pants.

And this was my favorite panel in any comic I bought yesterday. If you were wondering, which you weren't. STILL!
