terraI am back, and I suspect the tags will soon claim that I am Matt Fraction. I come with more questions! Somewhat spurred by DC rebooting everything, somewhat spurred by my LCS pulling Tony Daniel issues for me as they should psychically know that I do not approve.
What's your favorite bit of canon for your character? Issues, episodes, chapters, specific scenes, plotlines, whatever medium your character features in! If you had to point to something and say, this here, this is why I like my character, what would it be?

mocksBack in February, I asked about character birthdays (here) and started on an imPort birthday calendar (here.) Obviously it's a little out of date now, so I was thinking it'd be fun to update it with the more recent arrivals to the imPort community. Likewise, this is a chance for the characters who didn't participate in the last thread to tl;dr about their birthdays!
So, here are the original questions:
How old is your character? When is their birthday? What is their zodiac sign? What about their new zodiac sign? What about their Chinese zodiac? Is there a meaning behind their birth date/star sign/numerology/etc.? Answers can be canon, head-canon, whatever!

Jun. 30th, 2011 03:40 pmterraSo, in the sainted language of nerds, aka D&D, there is something called character alignment. It is a rigid and much criticized system that attempts to put morality into easily-labelled boxes so that you can cast magic a spell and have all the bad guys glow.
C&C, I am asking you to put your characters into boxes. There are nine alignments: permutations of good - neutral - evil and lawful - neutral - chaotic. So a Lawful Good character is all into following the rules and doing the right thing. A Chaotic Neutral character might be a rebel without a cause. And a Neutral Evil character might be a selfish prick who doesn't care if he works within society or without it. Wikipedia can help explain.

Imagine I am holding up a placard which asks: "What is your character's type?" Imagine also that my unhealthy "air quote" habit has caused me to drop the placard as I attempted to read it out loud.
Really though, what does your character look for in a prospective romantic and/or sexual partner? Would they even look? Is their idea of what they want actually what they want?
Tl;dr for me about the love lives of the rich and fictional. I'm curious.

If your characters wore Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab perfume, which scents would they wear?
For those of you not in the know! BPAL is basically...goth fantasy nerd perfume. It has scents based on Witchblade, Lovecraft stories, The Last Unicorn, RPG races and classes, mythology, Hellboy, the works of Neil Gaiman, and lots of other things. There's an entire category of perfumes based on dragons. Yep. Even if you're smart enough to avoid sinking into the black hole of actually buying from there, it's entertaining to browse and associate their stuff with characters! At least...if you're a huge nerd. Like me.
Bonus for if you can come up with a way for your characters to actually wear this stuff. Aside from the ones that have poofed out of existence because the characters they were based on got 'Ported in, anyway.
