What does your character look like?

Because icons aren't always the most accurate, today's not!meme asks you to describe your character's physical appearance. Height, weight, eye and hair color, build, distinguishing marks, etc. And if they've had any physical changes since arriving in the City (i.e., new robo-arm, sporting a rad eyepatch, suddenly becoming a human) you can share that as well! And if you use a PB, who are they, why did you pick them,etc.?

Let's talk about housing situations! What sort of home did your character grow up in? What sort of house do they live in in their canon? Where do they live in the City? Did they stay in the MAC or move in with friends? Who do they live with? How has their housing situation shaped their life?

I know I've seen some people reference myspace a million years ago, and there's been the recent buzz about twitter. Heck, I've semi-plotted the meeting of two characters based on a tumblr reblog war.

So! All that said! What site do they use? What do they post about? Do they lurk, or do they originate new content? Inquiring minds want to know.

What, if any, is your character's religious affiliation? Are they devout or lapsed? How does their faith (or lack thereof) shape them? Do they believe they have been granted powers by the obscure Egyptian god Khonshu?

Hello C&C it's been a while since the last episode of My Insatiable Curiousity but here comes another questiontime.

What does your character look like?

We've generally got icons to tell us, but sometimes they're imperfect, sometimes there's more to a character's physical presence that can be captured on a 100x100 still square. Are they attractive? Do they stand up straight? Do they dress well or poorly? What's the first thing a stranger might notice about them when they walk into the room? Are the book and movie versions different? &c &c.

As always this is a survey for curiosity's sake, there are no rules, just how you feel like answering!!

Back in February, I asked about character birthdays (here) and started on an imPort birthday calendar (here.) Obviously it's a little out of date now, so I was thinking it'd be fun to update it with the more recent arrivals to the imPort community. Likewise, this is a chance for the characters who didn't participate in the last thread to tl;dr about their birthdays!

Sooo, with Callie working at the D.O.I for the City, she's working on making things efficient and useful, and otherwise more import friendly. I've actually been considering making a PDF handbook with general need-to-know stuff about the City, explaining the Porter, listing events that have happened since the Porter first showed up and what to expect and a Civilian's Guide to "How to handle Supervillains", "Superheros are your friends", and "What to do when..." Event situation advice to reduce damage, harm, and casualties. Mostly just for fun. I dunno, it could actually be useful too?

Is this a stupid idea? Is Brakish crazy? Should I shut up? XD

If I were to try to start a decent DC dressing room of some kind, would you use it?

No, there are like... 3.5, all of which either aren't really used (to the best of my knowledge! please correct me if I am wrong!) or are infamously terrible.

➔ Why not try to revive one of the existing non-sucking ones?
Well, er, I don't know who runs those. Sorry...

➔ Why only a DC dressing room?
I dunno, I guess it could be all comics! But there are a few of those, too. Don't wanna step on any toes.

What is your character's biggest secret? What is that one thing they're trying to hide the most? The one thing they won't tell anyone about. Are there any measures they have to go to to make sure no one figures or learns about it? Why don't they want anyone to know? How do they feel about it? Ashamed? Angry? Why do they want to hide it at all? [insert anything else relevant here]

It might not be headcanon, but I know my guys have them, and I think it will be interesting to see what everyone elses' are!

Alright. Well what I'm curious about today is

How does your character sleep? Do they talk in their sleep or something like that? Do they hog the bed or take up as little room as possible? What position do they sleep in? Is there a reason for this behavior? If so, what is it? Do they have a fitful sleep or a restless one? Etc, etc, etc.
