Current state of affairs: enjoying his minor-celebrity status, patrolling at least 3 nights a week, living in Nathan's old apartment, still trying to mentor Phantasm and investigate Vulcanus but let's face it he's not doing much investigating
What I'm looking for: heroic shit, drinking buddies, opportunities to be an enormous dork in or out of costume, someone to break through his "everything is fine" facade and find out that he's really stupidly lonely and homesick and misses his daughter and Barnaby more than he will ever admit to.
What I'd like to avoid: death. everything else is fair game
Anything else?: he's perfect for following up on any of those public-appearance promotional "hey Imports are great" ideas that were floated a while back. His civilian identity is a famous actor and his hero identity is really damn obvious most nights.

How would you and Skalja feel about a 'review the troops' log where Jack and other characters inspect the Phantasm mentorees to see what good they'd be against Vulcanus?

mmmmmmaybe? Skalja and I are still due to talk about how we think things should be going from our end, whenever she's feeling better. We would need a lot of OOC discussion before I would be ready for an IC log.

Sanji

Character: Sanji
Canon: One Piece
Affiliations: Straw Hats forever (aka nothing in the City)
Current state of affairs: living in the MAC again but spending most of his time on his ship. He is completely lost and uncertain and growing more and more interested in sailing off to the Bahamas and never looking back. His relationship with Callie ended badly because Dick and even if she reverts to female, he might have burned a few too many bridges.
What I'm looking for: getting him back into a routine, whether it be a pirate-related or cook-related one. He hasn't had a job since selling All That Jazz but he's living off investments and scamming the police force of Curacao out of his bounty money. I wouldn't mind having him turn full on criminal (pirate) but it needs to be gradual and spurred by something, not just random. Also, fighting. He hasn't had a PC fight in forever.
What I'd like to avoid: death, burning more bridges with the women he counts friends, becoming too goody-goody. Another successful relationship.
Anything else?: I feel like I've lost a lot of enthusiasm with him but I love him to bits so I do need help getting him out of his rut and back into the game.

Alastair

Canon: Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monsters
Affiliations: Decepticons in a vague sort of way
Current state of affairs: running Dancitron, living in a corner of Hell Towers away from Pink so he doesn't have to run into Spike. Getting drunk a lot.
What I'm looking for: ANYTHING. Everything. No specifically, I really want a villian/antagonist to take him under their wing again, corrupt him, use him, turn him completely back to his dark side, and then destroy him. It's not hard to do so it wouldn't take a year-long story arc, really. Alastair has lost everything he cares about and has spiraled into a black hole. Negative CR is always welcome, he's a jerk and a coward.
What I'd like to avoid: dropping him this month because I have nothing for him to do.
Anything else?: Hell Towers is still wide open for tenants. There's a Mancave on 10th but he donated the reef shark to the aquarium (it seems someone ate theirs a few years ago). Pink's studio is on 9th. Dancitron is also available as a location for social shenanigans. I wasn't able to follow up on the canon-swap but he did actually go around taking souls for a few days, mostly people on the street who pissed him off, but he has a limit and they all get released after 72 hours so it was mostly pointless - but there would have been a rash of coma patients around that time who suddenly got better. It's a thing people can investigate if they want.

Maybe Jack could put some pressure on him over the soul-takings, once he's out of his release conditions?

Sure, if he noticed the correlation with "that week of weird" and "sudden clusters of coma patients who seemed not to be ill and inexplicably came out of it after that week was over." Because let's face it Alastair would have been on a rampage and not stopped until his cards were full.
