important questions

AKA "make GDS decide my reading choices."

[Poll #1669062]

Heeeeelp there's a really good comics store just a few blocks away from my house, this is the result.

Blue Beetle is always the right choice.
and i don't even have an answer for the second question because "when you run out of money and interest" isn't an option

I go back and forth on interest levels, kinda at a low point these days. But money's limited, too, so I guess it works out.

It's basically Warren Ellis' version of League of Extraordinary Gentlemen only it's less steam-punk and more sci-fi. Kiiiiiind of crazy but well worth a read.

You can't go wrong with the Blue Beetle trade, though.

zatanna's pretty terrible. don't read it. esp. since about 50% of the art is also terrible.

you should read books of magic and hellblazer and shadowpact and army of darkness up until about... i'll say shop til you drop dead? yeah.

also you should never stop. ever.

Hey there, royaltimes on Twitter just pointed me to this - thank you for putting the list together! I'm curious about the character and this looks like great background material.

Trying to understand any comics universe is an exercise in futility.

[identity profile] i-seethestrals.livejournal.com 2011-01-17 10:39 pm (UTC)(link)

I've tried.

Daredevil Yellow is a good read, but I picked Red Sonja bc the world needs more She-Devils with Swords (and chainmail bikinis!)
