Yeah, I got that impression, too. Which makes me wonder why we needed to spend a year and a half on a series that effectively shelved a really popular team?

I don't know but I miss old-edition dorky Simon ;;

Yeah, that also seemed really weird and strategically just kind of dumb? Like obviously the Young Avengers sell books even when the content is pretty shitty. Why mess that up?

Yeah, that's what I'm really confused about. And even from a plotting perspective, it seemed entirely unnecessary. I thought there would be at least some sort of bridge to AvX, but if the only thing this achieved was "bringing Wanda back," there has got to have been a million other ways to do it without dismantling this team.
