So I just got back from seeing Batman Live in Birmingham! It was... quite an experience. And naturally, one I want to share!

OKAY SO a couple of things that I don't THINK are quite important enough to go in OOC because they mostly relate to me being a derp and failing at planning:

ONE: TEEN TITANS - so since I am English I completely fail at thinking of Thanksgiving even with a million posts about it, but do we want to have a Teen Titans Thanksgiving party at the Tower? Would that be something you guys want to do or are the Titans mostly tied up going other places? Because I am cool with just handwaving that they had a little Thanksgiving lunch or something so you can all go to the much more organised parties, like Zee's which Tim might turn up to as moral support for Bruce BUT DON'T THINK HE'S FORGOTTEN YOU, JASON, HE'S GOT TUPPERWARE. I AM. REALLY OPEN HERE and once again, sorry for talking about it so late in the day sob how do I shot US holidays.


TWO: ABOUT CASTOR - since arriving and talking to people, he's been wandering around a bit, and looking for a church. And then finding out that America's churches are kind of picky about what branch you follow and all this stuff that basically means he'll be looking for an abandoned church to set up shop in. I'll be putting up a post for that later but IOLA, if you'd like him to stumble into Nill's church so they can meet (at some point with less EXPLOSIONS being terrifying), that w-would be cool, otherwise he can just find some other random church.

I've got a couple of things to say today, but I don't think any of them are important enough to merit a post over on the ooc comm, really.

So since my desktop is dying, I'm looking into getting a new one, and trying to decide if I want to buy the components and build my own, which... I can do, but I don't have much room to work in here. Or buy a whole system off the shelf/internets, which would probably come with some software I'd have to... otherwise obtain... if I built from scratch >_>

(And by "my desktop is dying" I mean my dad killed it. ... No, that's unfair, but he was the one using it when it decided constantly powering off would be fun.)

Suggestions for makes to try or avoid? :D

Already noted for avoidance: Dell. Who have taken over Alienware, sob.

Since I don't know what to call this post other than a... notice of behaviour? An explanation of some differences you may notice if you've played with Tim previously. So for the spam comm it is. Yep.

Anyway.

Taking Tim to Red Robin NOT ONLY gives me a beautiful OOC icon om nom fucking nom, but marks some noticeable changes in his behaviour, since... uh, his world got turned upside down - wait he's not the Fresh Prince. BUT HIS WORLD IS KIND OF DESTROYED RIGHT NOW, on a personal level, and he's desperately trying to fix it, and doing all sorts of things he would never before in order to do so. The changes are as follows:

1. He is more of a jerk. :( I don't know how else to put this succinctly. He's lost all his friends and family over the years, and then his adoptive dad and mentor, the person he's been living his life to help, protect and follow, died as well. And his big brother figure took away his title, the one he's been living for and with for years and made his own, and gave it to a kid who's tried to kill him several times. Without... asking him first. So he feels hurt, alone, rejected and angry at the world, basically, and this has... made him a jerk! He will be more terse, blunt and closed off than before, because screw you guys, you don't know >:| Hopefully his friends can slowly ease him out of this, but it will take a little time and a lot of poking.

2. He is even more of a workaholic than before. Seriously. No more watching TV or movies, or derping around with the Titans. He will be either in his room sleeping, in his computer lab working, or patrolling. Sometimes he may be seen in the kitchen, but he's also not eating as much as he should. Without the need to find Bruce here, he feels a little lost, and is clinging to what he can do in order to keep himself focused and driven. If he stops, he's kind of afraid he might break down.

3. He's a bit more violent. Not to the extremes of when he was fearless, he's not breaking bones unnecessarily or killing people, OBVIOUSLY. But he is fighting more brutally and efficiently, looking to deal with criminals as quickly and effectively as possible. He's not afraid of using his superspeed in fights any more, and... he's not afraid of getting hurt himself :/ This is actually a BAD THING, it means he will grab someone's hands WHEN THEY ARE ON FIRE and then headbutt them to knock them out, not caring about his own hands getting burned.

That's... about it, I THINK. The people most likely to notice these things are the Titans, obviously, and Batman and Jason, but like, anyone who wants to... thread something with noticing Tim being kind of RIGHT ON THE LINE as regards beating the shit out of people, or anything, hit me up :3
