So hi CnC I've been sick lately and so today I totally just binged on Soon I Will Be Invincible. I heard about this book from my senior seminar advisor who apparently is teaching the author over at UC Berkley where she is now and afsjdlfjdljf

I AM SURE IT'S BEEN BABBLED ABOUT ON GDS BEFORE BUT I DON'T CARE IT'S MY TURN

So basically it's Yet Another Sendup Of The Superhero Genre, but it's clever and witty and fun to read. I think the best part is that it's basically a handbook for people who want to play Bombastic 70's And 80's Style Villains Realistically. Dr. Impossible SAYS really ridiculous things, but his internal thought processes are really clever and interesting.

~~I kind of want to app Fatale now orz~~ did I mention it has a bunch of strong and genuinely interesting female characters? Fatale is my favourite; but Elfin, Lily; hell, even Damsel are all pretty cool.

TL;DR someone should app someone from this book because it'd be awesome; also Zero go read it now it's basically Mystery Men in novel form only better.

Hey you guys. First of all, I have something for you. It's a (audio-only) commentary on HSM2 by cool people (read: I visited Eggo and we recorded ourselves talking because we're big dorks)! So! Part 1 and Part 2! Some of the jokes don't make as much sense without the video, but. You should watch HSM2 anyways because it is awesome and yeah. I fail at canon pimpage.

OH. Second thing! Because the City has more reason to kill Ryan (Troy's nice, you guys. Ryan's the evil one.) he's probably going to pose as a girl for a couple weeks*. So I need you guys to pick a codename, because "Ryan" is not a terribly girly codename. Nor is Goldenthroat. Or Jazz Square.

Yes there is a theme to those names. * "pose as a girl" in this instance means "dress like one and talk in falsetto all the time" basically.

Okay. Other people get to share fun cracky things about their canon. Like, Ruka rides unicorns and explodes or whatever and Catwoman apparently has really stupid disguises and Metabots is just wtf and stuff. Heroes normally doesn't have that awesome crack. We just have Petrellicest and Matt/Daphne. And turtles. Can't forget the turtles.

So yeah. I wanted to share something cracky because it's late, I'm tired and I'm sleepy.

This is the crackiest thing to come out of Heroes.

It's the graphic novel also known as 'The Trial of the Black Bear' where Adam is Japanese and gets mauled by a bear and Hiro is this pokemon cat panda...thing. It makes no sense.

I love you NBC.

EDIT: I JUST REALIZED HOW CRACKISH HEROES CAN BE. The only problem is there aren't any good screencaps. SO JUST ASK ME AND I'LL TELL.
