Note that I am actually more familiar with horror fiction and am somewhat of an expert on HP Lovecraft and Edgar Allen Poe. In either case, their powers would be the ability to evoke fantasy/horror related tropes (as appropriate) and to summon Things from fantasy/horror novels.
