[ she gives him a quick glance before shifting her gaze back down to the egg, dropping her hand to stroke at its plastic forehead gently. ]

[ she shouts it from the bathroom, as she does her best to figure out how one even goes about diapering an egg. it's just the sort of impractical thinking that led her to drop out of school. ]

[ since obviously it works that way, especially given how applicable her sign still is. she screw up her lips as she pins one end of the diaper, but the other only slips as she does.

she looks up at the ceiling and groans. this might have been her fifth go at it. ]

[Nepeta is currently tossing the eggbaby up in the air idly, giggling a little on the rare occasion that she nearly fumbles the catch. it's similar to a game that she used to play with Pounce when she was smaller, and since she has the vague understanding that doing activities with the baby is required she's assumed this is a perfectly good one to do.

she pauses in her game when Frank comes in, tilting her head upwards in curiosity]

[ There's a lurch in his gut when she nearly fumbles and he barely keeps himself in place. It's very restrained in how he just extends his hands. ]

[she hands it over in a (to her credit) rather gentle manner. now that it isn't being tossed about like a ball it's clear to see that Nepeta's also decided to do some art with the baby as well and painted its face in what is hopefully paint.

[ It's almost a sigh of relief when she surrenders it so easily -- but that doesn't last. ]

[ The baby is still giggling, so at least it is thrilled about this whole mess. ]

[she's pretty psyched that Frank is taking an interest in the face paint, since he doesn't seem like the kind of guy to appreciate quality artistic designs]
