Character: Billy Kaplan
Canon: Marvel 616
Affiliations: his now defunct team, soon to be trollhaus. also sadness
Current state of affairs: Over the summer Billy lost Eli, a former teamate, and Kate his best friend and decided to ~try and do something~ leading to the creation on a open and loose-knit band of young teens (read: QQ, Billy & Teddy) that was recruited by Jack Bauer to work for the DOI. After some consideration Billy accepted but they haven't gotten to do anything too exciting yet up that avenue mostly because we've all been shot for time. This decision to go back to supeheroing also sparked justified concern over the use of Billy's powers, and he went to have a chat with Jenny after there were an uncomfortable number of parallels drawn between them. He is still not sure he's entirely safe. Also his boyfriend was afraid Billy was making him up, not that that concern was actually voiced.

In the last two days, Billy lost both his roommate/"teammate" QQ and his boyfriend Teddy which came as a huge emotional blow to him despite understanding that this would probably happen eventually anyway. Billy has a history of depression canonically so I want to try and find a balance between still being actually quite upset for a little while but somehow still getting cr since he's obviously the more talkative of my two characters. at least kanaya is taking care of his ass in this time of need i suppose the remedy lies somewhere with disney movies and ice cream
What I'm looking for: To be quiet honest a bit of negative cr would not be a terrible thing. As is being slowly revealed in comics, Billy has the potential in the future to rewrite all the rules of magic making him a potentially very powerful being. What this seems to mean more than anything in canon rn is that there's a big target on his back of everyone and their mom (literally, their mom) wanting to get closer to him and have some say in his magic and/or steal it straight out and even without living up to that potential his magic is capable of doing some really crazy stuff and I wouldn't mind playing with that/pushing him a little (or a lot). A few of you have listened to me throwing around ideas about a plot with him for awhile and I want to hold off on that for just a bit (mostly for like actual irl time issues though for a few ic ones too) but in the meantime there's plenty to be done given his mental state and powers

wow that sounded really terrible when i wrote it down but the point is that is an avenue we are welcome to discuss his life is missing the angst that comes from things greater than crying over your boyfriend not existing in their reality anymore, tbh
What I'd like to avoid: I think its pretty clear I'm not really looking out for Billy's best interests in this moment whoops
Anything else?: I am still up for reworking the team of cute young people you should let me know if you want to get involved so when he gets himself back in gear we can have more night time superhero parties. "party" here meaning "bad guy ass kicking"

Character: adrian veidt
Canon: the watchmen film
Affiliations: the minutemen technically
Current state of affairs: adrian has a job, is building up his fortune with the stock market, and also has been going around at night patrolling without friends because friends are lame and why would he need those at all ever
What I'm looking for: I would really like to get Adrian more information about world specific things - maybe stuff from post-mod plot? while he's capable of pulling some rather large scale things he wouldn't unless he has a reason!

I also wouldn't be adverse to doing more slice of life things with him but he's kind of dumb with his self-avowed I don't have friends lame stuff. He'd probably go to swanky parties though because he's that kind of person. really he just needs to meet people who are not as loner and unwilling to be friends as he is. He's capable of holding conversations with people he respects!! he hugged dan even because they're friends except he doesn't have friends i have an icon of it.
What I'd like to avoid: death and idk what else maybe other things im not sure yet
Anything else?: there are plans for him in the works just the slow i cant put all my cards on the table kind but in the meantime he needs to get out more please help
