Canon: Fate/stay night
Affiliations: Team Tohsaka. He's back with Rin at the moment. He's also keeping an eye on Kiritsugu and about to start working for Minako at the Pie Hole.
Current state of affairs: Doing remarkably well for someone as dysfunctional as him. He's less miserable and self-loathing than usual thanks to accepting his place at Rin's side, though he'll still be cynical and sarcastic most of the time. Together with Rin, he's still interested in investigating Vulcanus.
What I'm looking for: Heroic team-ups, Vulcanus investigation, cool action-y things, chances to discuss swords and mythology about them...a lot of things would be fun!
What I'd like to avoid: Death, for the moment. But I'll consider pretty much anything else.
Anything else?: As of tomorrow, Archer will have been in the City for a year. So maybe he can do something for that.

Affiliations: City Hall (Head of Security), Mitchell Hundred (which deserves a category of its own). Lives with Terrance Ward.
Current state of affairs: Bradbury's been in the City just over a year. Coming from a world where only one superhero ever existed, and as a guy who hates science fiction, needless to say most of that time has been spent trying to adjust to the strange new world he's in. Earlier in September he solicited assistance from imPorts in dealing with bombs set up by Red Death in City Hall and an attempted kidnapping (he'll send you the thank you notes as soon as he's done beating himself up for it, but rest assured that if you helped out you have his eternal gratitude).

What I'm looking for:

- CR and situations that highlight how out of his depth he is. The natural conflict that comes from being the straight man to all this crazy superpowered shenaniganry is fun to play, as is trying to think of realistic ways he'd adapt. His position makes him less flexible for big scale plots, but he can easily be roped into minor disasters.

- People to work for him! He's on the look out for members pretty much constantly, since they keep rotating out, though he tends to leave it mostly up to Nelson.

- Someone to tell him to quit taking Mitch's shit, or in the alternative, someone to encourage him to develop more of a spine. Or self-esteem in general. 8[

What I'd like to avoid: Death, unless it's plot-essential, because he's already died a few times in-game!
Anything else?: Nothing comes to mind.

Current state of affairs: He's warming up, returning to his path to sadistic funtimes. He's going to start fixating on the Porter itself, in place of a Grail.
What I'm looking for: ALL KINDS OF CR. People to be hideously manipulative around. Sadism bros. Religion bros. Wine bros. Philosophy bros. Excuses for him to use his martial arts and healing! Etc etc.
What I'd like to avoid: I'm planning his death for this month so that's already in motion. Otherwiiiise nothing comes to mind!
Anything else?: BLANKET DISCLAIMER everything I planned for him last month is moving to this month because September had it out for me IRL. I have an open log and network post which will come up early October.

Current state of affairs: Happy--or well as happy as she can be. That's always up for question (￣□￣;) Right now she's reaching out to a couple of others who have investigated Vulcanus to double check some information, then she'll be making a post on the network with her findings from various things. She also has an actual job now to go with her volunteer position at the clinic? It only took a year for someone to ping her.
What I'm looking for: Clinic stuff, Val's lab stuff, general mingling with people her age is always a bonus. If you have a brooding teenager, she's really good at dealing with those just ask Davesprite. As always it's a lot of fun to have her hang around with guys twice her age so there's that!
What I'd like to avoid: Possibly death, but I always feel weird 'blocking off' things so if it comes up, it comes up!
Anything else?: October might be a plot heavy month cast-wise, so I'm really looking for outside CR stuff to mix it up a bit. A lot of her old CR has dropped over the past few months, so I'm interested in pursuing a lot of new CR. I also understand she's a difficult person since most of her network posts have been embarrassing so I look forward to her proving her worth now that she's getting serious.

I also have been out with the flu all last week so I didn't do many tags as a result. My apologies for being slow, but I'm a lot perkier now!

Current state of affairs: Trying to tame his direwolf and typing up some blog entries when Kanaya pinged him and Sherlock about Red Death. Now he's busy with that.
What I'm looking for: I wouldn't mind him being kidnapped. It's been a while since that happened. I'd also like an opportunity for him to use his power because it's been a long time. OTHERWISE, I'm always eager for the usual stuff: people he can drink with, have an adventure with, solve your crimes.
What I'd like to avoid: Death and being fourth-walled.

Affiliations: THE DENIZENS OF CENTRAL PARK ok no she's still loosely connected to the other trolls and Xanatos Industries even though Xanatos himself is gone.
Current state of affairs: Nepeta's coming onto a year in the City and is kind of in a weird place right now. She's dealing with having broken some really major friendships and also losing a bunch of the friends that she made here to drops while also growing kind of restless over not really doing all that much, but at the same time she also kind of likes not being constantly fighting for her life. She's also still living in a tree in the park ahaha.
What I'm looking for: I am always looking for pretty much every kind of cr (seriously come at me guys) buuut as to specifics I think it'd be pretty fun to have her get into trouble, be it large or small scale as she's kind of operating without anyone to really reign her in these days. On the flipside, people who like kids trying to mentor/parent her and running into all the hilarity that doing that to an alien kid entails is also fun.

Also I'm open to throwing her at any manipulative folks who might want a useful pawn? Nepeta's got pheromone control as her superpower and is pretty naive, so it's not too difficult to befriend her and then use her if someone is so inclined. Negative cr is always fun too, although she's got a pretty high bullshit tolerance level. This also means if you've got a character who's kind of antisocial, Nepeta's great for dragging them out places since she's doesn't really accept no as an answer.

Current state of affairs: As always, Tony invests himself more in modplot than many of my other characters. He's generally the one who's looking to consolidate resources, and aims for that kind of thing! he's generally a fantastic avenue for superhero shit, as well as science shit, but currently he's being a) drug into watching over Val a little bit, b) watching vulcanus, and c) still trying to run a company.
What I'm looking for: Modplot! Superhero antics! Ladies... Science!
What I'd like to avoid: With Tony, I'm cool with almost everything! He's extremely versatile, and I'm really open to any kind of new CR!

Anything else?: I'm going to be moving at the start of October so I'll probably have to call a hiatus then, but I'll be back by the middle of the month and have a better idea of my circumstances.

What I'm looking for: friends, enemies, people to kick butt with, and maybe those who are working with what they got in the last modplot? Peej is a good tank/shield!!

Current state of affairs: Christine is living the life, taking full advantage of her power - persuasion - to get whatever she wants, whenever she wants. Money is no problem, despite her not having a job just yet. She's still deciding if she wants to partake in the hero vs villain war or if she's just going to keep neutral.

What I'm looking for: I don't have nay negative CR just yet. She can be a mentor figure, especially to women, and a massive manipulator. Those who are extremely useful and easily influenced would be perfect targets for her, but I wouldn't mind finding someone that makes her want to bring them down. And even though I don't really like to play it out, Christine is very sexual and would most likely have a number of partners by now (and welcome new ones in the future). If you're attractive, charming and powerful, she will most likely be somehow attracted.

What I'd like to avoid: Can't think of anything right now!

What I'm looking for: Anything! Given recent status quo change, if any X-Institute characters want CR I'd be particularly game.
What I'd like to avoid: Dying. Anything else is negotiable, pretty much -- or if it's not, I'll know it when I see it.

Current state of affairs: Three months in and he is maintaining a steady so far, so good! He's working and trying his best to be superheroic when occasion allows, and putting out open casting calls for lovable misfits to see how it works out. Not a ton going on for him beyond socializing.

What I'm looking for: Friends, enemies, movie nerds, superhero alliances... it would actually also be cool if there are other characters with Polish and/or Muslim roots like his, because common bonds are always awesome to play with! He hasn't had much call to use his powers of illusion or immunity to pain either, so I would love any reason to play around with those! And it would be great to get him doing a character bit sometime, since he's pretty killer at impressions.
What I'd like to avoid: Getting him killed. I'm pretty much open to anything else, since I'm looking for ways to get him more CR and plotting type things!

Anything else?: If anybody would like a guy to observe them and then make eerily accurate assessments/predictions about them based on his knowledge of TV and movies, he is a great source? idk

He also has a fourth-walling permissions post in his journal! Abed's been mightily trying to refrain himself from breaking the fourth wall since he figures not every fictional mind can or should have to cope with that knowledge, and he generally only knows western media, but I like to link this when I can just to be safe!

What I'm looking for:
° villain things! villainous team-ups, rivalries, pseudoaffectionate attempts on each others' lives, all that good shit. you may not have noticed this, but eridan is pretty villainous.
° rumblr things! i am so fucking into this game's ridiculous meta you don't even know. eridan routinely writes fanfiction about other imports anonymously, gorespams the unsuspecting, and says some no good very bad things about other characters on his personal rumblr. i am ridic down for some internet rivalries.
° general asshole things! do you need someone to slap an ice cream cone out of your character's hand? manipulate their hopes (either to EXTREME DEPRESSION or EXTREME MANIA or anywhere in between) for absolutely no reason outside of spite? here's your guy.
What I'd like to avoid: Can't think of anything in particular!

I would love for Hannibal to find/get his rumblr. Okay so it's not trashy tabloid murder journalism but if it's got no good very bad things about other people in the City he'd probably end up reading it on break. He just wouldn't ever tell him because stuff like that is just Too Undignified for Doctor Culture to ever confess to following. He'd think gorespams were Rude but he wouldn't flinch. There may start being snide anon comments to them, even. "This is so fake" "This is old as dirt I saw it on [some site] ten years ago" "This is the exact same method of impalement used 800 years ago so clever and original" "Oh wow all those needles I'm suddenly craving fugu do you know how hard it is to make blowfish edible it's really hard thanks a lot" And maybe some puns, too, for good measure. Cannibal in the dungeon and all that.

If Eridan is interested in him enough to stalk him with high-powered binoculars maybe he can catch a glimpse of him furiously scrolling through his rumblr and be like "wow we're stalking each other" and have some weird Inception moment

Character: Eddie Nygma.
Canon: DC Comics! New Earth!
Affiliations: City Hall.
Current state of affairs: While psychologically fractured (fallout from summer events), Eddie's facade is still pretty in tact. He's keeping the legislation Citizen Organization of Costumed Kind close to his chest (haha), since he and Mitch have to tread carefully with imPort image in light of vigilante groups and their respective actions.
What I'm looking for:
1) Someone to engage Eddie politically (and in opposition), so that he might have to resort to more greyscale means of advantage. Something antagonistic, but specifically within a public sphere (as opposed, say, to his secret rivalry with Norman). This prospect is open to anyone within or outside of City Hall, but the ideal candidate would have to find Eddie's methods/personality fairly distasteful.
2) Someone who might be interested in pursuing some investigative badgering on Eddie's psychology. While he's been reformed for years now (bearing in mind a few indirect deaths/tortures/other little slips), the past year has been incredibly fracturing for the man. Norman Osborn torturing him didn't help much, really, and neither did all those off-world adventures and the recent Red Death scare. I'd love a character who's interested in morality and dissecting its relationship with the psyche (getting a bit Hume-id in here). This could have negative effects.
3) Connections! If you're interested in getting your character involved with City Hall or you're keen to push a public agenda, I'd be happy to have Eddie involved in making things happen. He has a history of being particularly adamant about the fine arts and humanities, if your character has similar affinities.
What I'd like to avoid: Not into having Eddie die, since I don't want him confronting his fear of death. He already has falsehood detection, he needs something to keep him in line!
Anything else?: Nope!

Current state of affairs: ... She's getting a handle on this modern world and probably driving Gilbert up a wall!
What I'm looking for: People to help her acclimatize, getting to play around with the fact she is physically thirteen forever and subsequently is perceived as being that age, explorinng or familiarizing with the city, no seriously people helping with acclimatization, at some point she should pay enough attention to the moon to realize how defaced it is (...why, modern world), shenanigans!
What I'd like to avoid: Bad credit scores. Man those are just the worst!
Anything else?: Surprisingly good at holding up half dead blind dudes.

Affiliations: NOHoPE, precious cannibal friend Will Graham, begrudgingly worshiping at the church of the HABIT (his bad)
Current state of affairs: Working with NOHoPE! Getting on his feet, it hasn't been a month yet but he's working towards freedom from the MAC and behaving himself.
What I'm looking for: Couple of things:
- I'd really like for him to have a log where someone (maybe even himself!) ends up getting a small injury, like a paper cut. Accidentally sticking themselves with a thumb tack or safety pin or something. One of his powers includes the ability to heal open wounds, so that would be a good way for him to find out that one. Then he can start actually trying to figure out the other two. I'd eventually like for him to get a good grasp on them so he can go back to working some days in the ER. So he'll be doing psychiatric work, surgeon work, and yet still have time for anyone who needs him. So impressive, what a great guy. Four stars for this Hannibal Lecter, bless his soul.
- For the love of God get this man a proper kitchen. Just. Yes. If your character has a nice kitchen he will gladly cook dinner (non-people dinner, he's behaving!!!) and dessert and all that good stuff. Apparently, watching him cook is something people consider a show so it's basically the best of both worlds. Any actual, eventual cannibal dinners would be run by the other player first, so it's all real beef and pork and stuff. For now.
- If anyone wants him for a psychiatrist, feel free. We'll hammer the details out. How distracting his pocket squares would be, how bored or interested he'd be, how many sessions it would take to get a character's original world down (if it's something really different than the norm) in his mind well enough before he can actually dive into the nitty gritty stuff, how many annoying prints of the same damn Greek myth he has hanging in his office, how much wine they can handle before he needs to cut them off, where he buys his cheese so he can be stalked.
- Cannibal. It rhymes. The first person to say as much gets a bit of respect. A bit.
What I'd like to avoid: Can't really think of anything.

Eddie has ICly proposed to Mitchell that City Hall retain Hannibal on for any lobbyist-courting dinners. Eddie is not fond of lobbyists, they keep pushing agendas he rarely cares about and are generally annoying.
