Character: Rick Bradbury
Canon: Ex Machina
Affiliations: City Hall (Head of Security), Mitchell Hundred (which deserves a category of its own). Lives with Terrance Ward.
Current state of affairs: Bradbury's been in the City just over a year. Coming from a world where only one superhero ever existed, and as a guy who hates science fiction, needless to say most of that time has been spent trying to adjust to the strange new world he's in. Earlier in September he solicited assistance from imPorts in dealing with bombs set up by Red Death in City Hall and an attempted kidnapping (he'll send you the thank you notes as soon as he's done beating himself up for it, but rest assured that if you helped out you have his eternal gratitude).

What I'm looking for:

- CR and situations that highlight how out of his depth he is. The natural conflict that comes from being the straight man to all this crazy superpowered shenaniganry is fun to play, as is trying to think of realistic ways he'd adapt. His position makes him less flexible for big scale plots, but he can easily be roped into minor disasters.

- People to work for him! He's on the look out for members pretty much constantly, since they keep rotating out, though he tends to leave it mostly up to Nelson.

- Someone to tell him to quit taking Mitch's shit, or in the alternative, someone to encourage him to develop more of a spine. Or self-esteem in general. 8[

What I'd like to avoid: Death, unless it's plot-essential, because he's already died a few times in-game!
Anything else?: Nothing comes to mind.

Works for me! Bar as usual, or do we wanna shake things up and dump them somewhere else? Bond left Bradbury with a gym he has no fucking clue what to do with (aside from work out in it, presumably), but I'm blanking on what else would make a good setting...

Character: Yako Katsuragi
Canon: Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro
Affiliations: NOHoPE, where she works as Danger's assistant. Otherwise, she's been involved with looking into Vulcanus activity.
Current state of affairs: Yako doesn't have much on her plate, being content to take life as it comes -- at least on a personal level. She's interested in finding out more about Vulcanus and generally being more pro-active in terms of involvement in activities that assist the import community as a whole. More recently, she's been helping Jack Bauer with his therapy treatments (mostly in the form of Talking Out His Issues), and seems optimistic about progress being made there.

Sometime within the next month, I plan on seeing if I can involve her with the DOI in some capacity! \o/

What I'm looking for:

- More hero-ish activities, but in general, MORE CR. Whether of the negative or positive sort, I welcome it all. She's pretty outgoing and she doesn't have many reservations about getting to know people, so she's useful for trying to get pricklier or more withdrawn characters out there. If you're just looking for someone to poke at your character's psyche, she can do that too!

- Ways to get her back into the detective/investigation side of things. Teaming up with someone (not necessarily actual detectives) or getting unwittingly caught in the middle of something?

- Her power is power amplification, and I haven't really done much with that! If you wanted your character's power to go haywire for whatever reason or had a plot idea contingent on having someone's powers go nuts, let me know how I can help. 8'|

What I'd like to avoid: UH IDK she's good for anything.

okay echoing we need more cr which i will respond to in your comment but i'm posing a deliberate question here...

i might want to abuse power amplification, but would it be a stretch to tweak it into something that isn't technically a 'power' but more like an attribute?

IT'S PRETTY FLEXIBLE aka. how it interacts with your character is up to you... for example, in the case of "powers" that aren't really powers (ie. someone who's physically non-human or something) her power would affect them by enhancing their physical constitution or something!

EXPLAIN TO ME HOW THIS FAKE GRAIL HEART WORKS and maybe we can come up with something! :}}}}

WELL BASICALLY his heart is now made up of gross grailmud which is an essence of 'all evils in the world.' When it touches someone, they are usually corrupted (if you're not like kirei and pretty messed up already) to varying degrees. It's a plotpoint in FSN that characters become 'dark' versions of themselves due to the Grail's influence.

SO I WAS THINKING maybe together we could whip up a reason for the hidden ~evil~ in Kirei's heart to ~expand~ a little and spark a player plot for characters to be turned corrupt by it? c:
