Most of you remember this. FOR THOSE THAT DON'T here's how we roll.

People signed their characters up, and now you will make anonymous dares. Things like '5 and 14 pick each other's noses' or something. Instead of names, you use numbers. When we have enough dares, I reveal the list, and each character has a name assigned to them. Said characters go forth and perform humiliating tasks for all to enjoy. EVERYBODY WINS except for Joe who goes to jail.

So.

Texas summer. Really hot. Good bug breeding season. Problem is? The bugs don't like the damn heat they were born in. So they go inside houses. Even the cleanest of houses get bugs during Texas summers. I have almost never seen a bug inside here except during the worst days of summer and once during a really uber-level spring thunderstorm of doom.

But, Texas summer. Starts early and gets going fast.

Two nights ago, I woke up to find that a wild cockroach had gotten in through a window screen somewhere and was crawling on my leg; after much screaming and flailing I managed to find and kill it.

Just now I was about to go to sleep and lo! another wild roach crawling on the wall by the bed. The cat missed eating it and I chased it around the bedframe, but I couldn't catch it.

The fucking bug got away.

Long story short, Ty and I are terrified of going to bed now in case it comes to get us while we're sleeping and the cat doesn't eat it first.

So, C&C, please, this is a call of serious and utter desperation.

GIVE US THINGS TO DO TO STAY THE FUCK AWAKE.

Okay sooo.... I might be dropping a couple of characters.  Not going to name any names yet, but I have lost inspiration for both of them and uuugh.   I don't WANT to drop them, but I don't want to whore them and NOT play them either.

On a side note, I'm thinking about applying as Gambit (IF there isn't someone apping in this run of applications right now, i don't want to swan on into anyone's thunder).  I know it's 50/50 with Gambit in regards to his fanbase.  So if you hate him?  I'm... sorry?  I don't, and I've been debating about apping him for awhile I'M JUST INTIMIDATED BY THE X-CAST HERE OKAY.  I'm totally shitting myself even proposing this.  fhasifhasf

I would maaainly be pulling him from the 80s and 90s run of comics because those are my favs and what I grew up on and cling to forever and ever and uhh....  And yeah.  Unless you guys have any other suggestions on where you want to be pulled from.  AUs are up in the air, but I'm gon' be picky with that.  I like some of them and loath others.  I really liked AoA but I know some of you would shoot me in the face if I even considered that.

A single voice spoke up and sentenced Rorschach to his untimely end. He was rolled up in a flaky tortilla crust and crushed by a segway-powered steamroller. The remains were spread apart and seasoned into an asymmetrical, man-sized ink-blot fajita. Bean-flavored.

Rorschach was a sheep, and he was the last living detective of the flock.


Welcome to Day 14

Mild and drier before, the day begins with an ominous feeling. Even before mulling pasture one gets a sense that something terrible has happened. Take a walk a few yards and your sense of dread is justified: there is a huge crater, still hot from impact, leaving a giant indent in the field. Segway handles are poking up out of the ground around it, and in the center? Smashed and flattened bodies. Three sheep at the bottom--Kiryu, Hulk, and EVE are so squished together they look like a hideous lump of Pla-doh. Just next to them is a well-pancaked Master Chief, a wolf, who may have been ready to lunge at the trio just as the meteor struck.

Odd weather we're having.
