The "Indulge Me" Meme

How does this work? Well, kind of like this!

1. Comment here with your character.
2. Describe a scene you'd really love to do with them if you ever had a chance.
3. Other people comment to you and offer up their char for said scene.
4. Meanwhile, you go around and offer up your chars for other people's scenes of choice.
5. All of you thread what you want.
6. ???
7. PROFIT!

For your own convenience, I advise that you make a separate thread for every character. It will keep things from getting confused and cluttered. Or do what we did with the last CR meme and just stick a post with your name up and reply to it with one character at a time, that works too!

Cape and Cowl: The Trading Card Game 3.0

As claimed, it’s the third C&C Trading Card Game meme! Once again, the rules and master document are up here.

This meme is for creating, sharing, and discussing new cards and decks for the C&C card game. These can be cards for current or past characters, events, places in the City, NPCs, memes, or any other part of Cape and Cowl you would like to see included in this game!

Former player Britt is a flawless person and has actually made up a downloadable template for editing your own card images- you can see the results of her work here. The colour code is Blue = Hero, Gray = Anti-Hero, Yellow = Civilian, Green = Government/City Hall, Orange = Anti-Villain, Red = Villain, Black = City and Event cards. The previous meme is here for reference.

-If you are making a card image, please also fill out one of the forms below for card text so the details can be added to the card master list! If you don’t want to make an image, go ahead and fill out the form anyway and an image may be made for you!

Older card images are available on Google Drive, and also on the Tumblr. Iola has also prepared an album of Event cards.

Thanks to Iola and Dalrint, there are also organized master text lists for Character, City and Event cards.

-Many older cards have been modified from their initial draft to conform to rule updates or to clarify wording. When there’s a contradiction between what a card image says and what the list says, generally go with what’s written on the master list.

Card Games Incoming!

Jesse here, claiming the Sunday meme spot for the THIRD installment of the Cape and Cowl Trading Card Game meme! This is the meme where everyone makes up cards and decks for a card game based on C&C's setting and characters, either in text or actually making card images. The last time it happened is here for reference. Since then the rules have been improved, new cards have been created, and more accessible references put up for all the cards that already exist.

The 3.0 rules of the game include example cards, guidelines for building decks and playing games, links to collections of card images, and links to the master text lists for cards. Playing the game over Googledocs has worked well in practice, and I'm hoping we end up with enough cards to get some games going. Former player Britt has prepared an edit-able template for cards that can be downloaded here! It should be usable by anyone who has Photoshop or Gimp.

This advance notice is so people can get familiar with the rules, ask any questions necessary, fire up their image-working programs, and start coming up with ideas! The meme goes up Sunday.

As a side note, I'm very grateful to Iola, King, and Dalrint for their invaluable assistance in making this project happen!

Never Have I Ever Meme
